Thanks to members of the WI who have enjoyed kurling across the county, we have invested in our own kurling kit and had some taster sessions. The “stones” are rolled along the floor in the Main Hall to a target mat. As there is no ice, there is no sweeping, once you’ve pushed it you watch it go. As in curling there’s a lot of tactics and knocking the opponent’s stones off the target. It’s suitable for all ages and abilities as it can be played from a seat. All are welcome.
